During this weekend workshop two authentic masters will join together for the second time to share with you their knowledge and experience:
Yogi Ashokananda, who has been practicing yoga since early childhood, follows the Himalayan tradition of the ancient, sacred mahasiddhas of India. Chogyal Rinpoche, who was raised in the tradition of Vajrayana Buddhism and emphasizes the importance of bodywork having a most essential impact on meditation.
Even though they come from a different cultural background, Yogi and Rinpoche share similar values and pursue the same, holistic goals.
Yogi will be teaching the yoga and meditation disciplines he has developed with Rinpoche guiding his mantra chanting. Furthermore the both the both are going to lead two discourses together.

Short Description of the Workshop’s content:
Beyond the Duality of Life - Pranayama
Various forms of pranayama bring prana to every part of the brain and thereby improving mental balance & stability. We will create awareness of the body on an energetic and physical level.
Discourses
Yogi Ashokananda & Chogyal Rinpoche will lead together the 2 discourse sessions, which strengthen the magnetism of everyone’s association through discussion on a relevant topic. This year we will explore the Roots of Yoga in Indian and Tibetan Tradition on Friday and illuminate the differences and similarities of Yoga Nidra and Dream Yoga on Saturday.
Power of Inner and Outer alignment
This session will allow you to experience the connection between body, mind and breath through asana work and pranayama. It is not muscle that enables to hold the posture, but it is the mind that creates the balance and the breath gives the ability to hold it. The physical asana practice will leverage Yogi’s Himalayan Hatha Yoga, a strong, yet supportive form of yoga, and will follow the basic principles of this practice including bandhas, mudras and counterforce.
Restore & Revive
This session will explore a limited number of asanas, using the mind and breath to take you deeper in the posture allowing you to truly let go. The deepening, releasing and restoring aspects of this yoga practice give an unforgettable and beautiful experience of uniting mind, body and spirit.
Healing Power of Mantras
Mantra chanting opens the individuals’ heart, reverse negative mindsets and dissolve creative blockages.
Yoga Nidra
Known as Psychic yogic sleep, the practice of Yoga Nidra lets you fully rest in the body with awareness of the whole mind. The final state of pure openness connects inside and outside being undisturbed by samsara yet witnessing all.
Strengthening the Heart Energy - PKY
You will get insight into kumbhakas (breath retention), mudras, kriyas and the five pranas with a focus on the practice of strengthening heart energy. Prana Kriya Yoga also awakens the hidden energy (kundalini) within you, allowing you to transform and free yourself from limiting beliefs and old behavioural patterns that hold you back.
Mindfulness for an awakened Life
Simple mindfulness techniques calm your mind, relax the nervous system and let you feel overall positive in life while creating a healing vibration to your body.
A Fine Balance
This session will allow you to explore selected postures of Himalayan Hatha Yoga in more depth. Using breath awareness within each posture, you will explore the use of the powerhouses of Himalayan Hatha Yoga in the form of bandhas, mudras and elements giving you mental strength as well as physical.
The final meditation is allowing your body to relax and integrate the powerful changes in your physiology and psychology that you have created through the practice.
